Electron scattering by magnetic impurity in Weyl semimetals

Weyl semimetals are prominent examples of topologically protected quantum matter. These materials the three-dimensional counterparts graphene and great efforts being devoted to achieve a thorough understanding their fundamental physics. In this work, we aim at contributing end by discussing effect single magnetic impurity in as first step towards considering larger number impurities. We find that resonances appear local density states with Friedel-like behaviour, oscillating function distance. By studying spin-resolved states, can observe non-trivial anisotropic spin textures where components perpendicular wind around latter, until becomes completely parallel right interface. Friedel oscillations also play relevant role form textures, forming an oscillatory pattern. believe our results pave way further studies which consider presence large random
